About the Lethbridge area
Lethbridge is a small, vibrant city, located in the southernmost part of the Canadian province of Alberta. We’re the province with mountains, prairies, forests and skies so clear you can see all of those things from Lethbridge College. We are one hour by car from the United States, 1.5 hours from the spectacular Rocky Mountains in Waterton Lakes National Park, two hours from Calgary and its famous Stampede in July, and three hours from world-famous Banff National Park.
Lethbridge is Canada's sunniest city, proud of its mild winters and warm, dry summers. It offers a range of recreation, shopping and cultural experiences. We’re typically Canadian, but we have our own ways here - all of them friendly.
Canadians like to be outdoors. We have ski areas just two hours away, and golf courses right in the city, just minutes from Lethbridge College. You can hike our walking trails, or travel outside the city for a wilder experience. Lethbridge has several indoor pools and skating arenas. We play soccer outside in the summer, and inside in the winter. You can learn hockey by playing or watching our city hockey team, the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
So, if you’re ready to learn a little “Canadian” with your English, contact us and start your “holiday” in English language education.
